hi guys, i m just happy to see that many people have realised that there are so many nigerian scammers on the loose. as a nigerian, i hurts me but it s d truth. i ve also received loads of e-mails from these jobless bastards. sometimes, i blame some guys for helping them cos i dont think it makes sense for someone to offer 3000 pounds for an item worth a meagre 50 quid. still surprised that some guys fall for this rubbish. i strongly feel some of the victims were driven by greed cos it just doesnt look normal to be offered more than ur sale price. pls beware of stokesmail5@yahoo.com(roland stokes) who wanted to buy a car without seeing(big fool) and georgeproductsplaza@hotmail.com (steve george) who s got milions of plasma tvs, dvds, cameras etc in which u ll have to pay by western union first b4 u get ur order (another dumbass).

happy new year to u all and please never sell or buy or accept some stupid cheques if u cant meet these people

The best thing to do when you get an email from a scammer is to forward it to their mail provider e.g. Hotmail, Yahoo. The address to use is usually abuse@hotmail.com, abuse@hotmail.co.uk, abuse@yahoo.com. In a lot of cases, the email provider will close down the scammer's account if there is enough evidence. It won't stop them but it will cause them grief!

also, by posting their email addresses on as many forums as possible, you will be subjecting them to email harvesting software, programs that trawl the internet and "harvest" emails that are visable to create lists so companies can then spam you.

also take this as a word of warning - DO NOT post your own email address on the net. if advertising goods, use the "hide my email address" option so people have to contact you through the site. and don't post your addresses in forums like this!!

forwarding the spam emails onto the service provider is a good idea!
