He requires payment through western union...... operating under the name Pavel Terry at the moment

the reason why scammers use western union is cos its untraceable, so it'll be a fake address. they only need the 10 digit mctn no. and they can pick up the money from anywhere in the world.

there is v little chance of getting your money back, take it as an expensive lesson and move on.

Just to let you know, this person has been using gumtree for 3years at least, i remembered this address as i typed his address into theaa.com routeplanner, all seemed ok untill i checked the electoral (spelling, i know). roll and it turned out it was a flat not a shop like he said in his email to me. He seems to vary the emails a bit, also i googled 85 loftus road and top of the list is this scammer.

Try doing research on anyone before parting with any cash or details, also ask to meet or cash on delivery. That scares most scammers off.

i was so close to buying 4 leeds festival tickets for £450, Loftus road prat was advertising them on craigs list this time. i got a weird email so called from craigs list and could tell it was dodgy. loftus road makes spelling mistakes. anyway i googled the address and was taken here confirming my suspicions. i have contacted the local policestation (hammersmith- 020 8563 1212) and told them this link and told them about the scam, but because i didnt actually end up paying it would be ace if someone who actually ended up loosing money over this could contact the station aswell and tell them. the more people that ring the more chance they will go over to the nobheads house and do somewthing about this. comeon guys, dont let anyone else fund this dickheads life.
also im going to london soon with my boyfriend. if i have time im hoping to pay loftus road a visit... il let you know how it goes.
