Hello all,
Im a newbie here and I'm here in the UK on a HSMP. I have over 4 years experience as an IT Test Analyst. I feel the consultants are very lazy and never get back to you with any feedback. I have good communication skills and good Technical skills for the job im looking for yet....I'm hardly getting any interview calls....
I have applied in every job site possible Monster,CWJobs,Jobsite,JobServe,Reed . . name it ...n I have done it.
Im finding it really hard and my overseas dream is coming crashing down..
Could anyone tell me how do I go about getting an interview call?....Any agencies that someone here can tell me ?.....It would be of great help...

Cheers !!

The following article indicates that the following 6 Indian companies are responsible for bringing most of the 11,000 IT workers to the UK the year before last and 47,000 in total over the last few years.

Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Mahindra-BT, Mastek, Infosys Technologies and Satyam Computer Services

The IT job market is quiet at the moment - I have lots of friends and colleagues in IT who are finding recruitment very frustrating at the moment and they don't have work permit requirements. It's just a slow market - lots of applicants, few vacancies.
