Kingston upon Thames

Hi all:)I'm from Poland and I'm going to spend 4 months in Kingston soon. It would be great if anyone could tell me anything about this place. Is it safe, would it be easy to find any job there and so on. Thank you for all information in advance:)

Kingston is a very nice area, its far enough away from London to be peaceful but its only 40 mins to Waterloo.
There are lots of nice places down by the river, and lots of parks too, Richmond Park is close to Kingston.
In general its very safe, but on Friday/Sat nights there are quite a few fights etc, but its okay.
