I had a lodger who refused to do his share of the housework, in the end I told him either pay for a cleaner or move out as I'm not doing more than 50% of the work, so he hired a cleaner, result!

Walthamstow, you can get a decent room for about £70 a week or a full house for about £300. Great transport links, cheap shopping, multi-cultural etc.
