Bluey, I got all that stuff from Megarry & Wade's Law of Real Property, i.e. straight from the horse's mouth.
A squatter continues to be a trespasser even if a possession order is required.

I don't believe it is the case that landlords can seize the goods of tenants to cover their arrears - I believe it is classed as harassment/theft and is a criminal offence.
