If you're really short of money you can get a piece of chicken, chips and a drink for as little as £1.75. Wouldn't do it for long but it's ok for a few weeks.

It was Flatland so once you've actually got a place you have no further dealings with them (dodgy I know but this is London) I'm not that bothered if the landlord is scamming the tax system/government ...

Yeah, I've got the keys.
He only wanted £150 as a "holding deposit" keeps insisting I can pay the rest when he gives me a contract!

I got the keys, the landlord only wanted £150, apparently I can pay the rest "tomorrow" when he gives me the contract, this was on Wednesday, I keep getting the & ...

Just been to get the keys but the contract isn't ready leaving some potentially dodgy landlord clinging firmly onto my holding deposit....

Well one I went for was selling singing plastic frogs to garages...

They needed "sports minded" people for some apparent reason, I would've earn £800 a week if I'd stayed. Oh well.
