if you are having technical faults then you should let your users now, it is polite.. other sites do.

If you complain to Gumtree via feedback direct in the help section, that if you can be botherd to look for it as they hide it away so you wont complain..

hey is anyone else getting spam mail in relation to personal ad's placed even before you have activated your ad or even before your ad has gone live??

they seem to come from yahoo accounts

Over the past few months i have become less and less impressed with Gumtree.. change this change that, spam mails, ad's not going live etc..
they ask for feedback but i have never seen any change rev ...
