Can't quite believe I am the first to start a thread about this. Has anyone else discovered just how bad a shambles it has been so far? (Its not yet even underway!)
Has been impossible to book tickets from the website or box office, but the fake misleading assurances it will be available the next day have been frequently issued on a daily basis for the last week.
Apparently the last booking system was not meeting requirements, as far as I recall it worked very efficiently and in tandem with the website and was extremely sufficient. I suspect they changed it as a cost saving exercise. If that is the case, just be honest about it, it frustrates me that organisations and companies are never transparent with these things. None of it makes sense. They have a whole year to plan the thing, and they do it every year, there can be no excuses.
I'm a regular fringe attender and a fan of the whole event and what it stands for. But in their own words (on the Fringe website) it just isn't good enough. Registered Charity or not, its been a farce and surely the Director will be sacked over this as ultimately they have responsibility.
End of rant - the frustration has been slightly eased by this |

| By pure coincidence, I'd checked their site about two minutes ago... for the fourth time in the past few weeks, only to meet yet another delay. I'd like to see a bit more hard information rather than vague assurances. Anyone can have problems, but the sign of a good organisation is how it deals with problems when they arise. |

Yes my bf tried doing that on Sunday, and the search feature could never seem to come up with the show we were typing in!
Talk about rubbish! |
